Rush Order Rates
- Art prints only
- $20/40 (which rate depends on order size & complexity)
- Stickers only
- $25/45 (which rate depends on order size & complexity)
- Mix
- $30/50 (which rate depends on order size & complexity)
- Special case
- Regardless of order type, if the customer decides to move the deadline up significantly sooner than originally agreed to, they will be charged a nonrefundable $65 rush order fee that’s due immediately. I will not continue processing the order until this fee is paid.
- If the customer is unwilling to pay this fee, their options are to continue along with the original agreed upon deadline or cancel the order entirely & put in a new one which will be charged the regular rush order fee based off whatever type of order they have (stickers only, art prints, both). However, at most the customer will receive a partial refund & will still have to pay the difference on the new order’s invoice.
- Another option is to put in a new rush order & leave the original one as-is.
*Rush order = any order where I have less than a week (7 days) to complete the order
In general, with any given rush order, as long as I have at least 3 days to complete your order, please feel free to contact me to see if it’s possible.
Additionally, rush order fees are non-refundable.
To Calculate Total Cost
To get a better idea of how estimates are calculated, this is the basic formula:
Base rate + labor cost + *any add-ons (holo &/or physical proofs) + *rush order fee (if applicable) + at-con delivery fee (if applicable) + MD state tax
If you’re having your order delivered via post, then there’s a second invoice in which the cost will be:
Shipping cost + shipping materials fee ($5-7).
Lastly, all invoices are sent via Square & the customer will have the option to pay amounts other than the full amount when paying on it. So if you don’t have the full amount at the time of the order & there’s no rush, you can still put it in & pay on it over time. However, please keep in mind I won’t start processing your order until the invoice has been paid in full.
Additionally, if you’re in desperate need of a last minute rush order but don’t have the money for the full order, I can still try to work something out with you (pay half now, remaining half day-of the event for at-con deliveries, etc.). Although this doesn’t mean I’ll lower the overall order cost, this does mean that I’m absolutely willing to work with customers as long as they’re flexible & willing to compromise to some degree.
Additional Info.
- Regardless of which service you’re using, please give me a general deadline or timeframe you would like your order. A lot of times people say they don’t have a deadline or “there’s no rush” but oftentimes there very much is a very specific timeframe you need things by & knowing this allows me to prioritize better.
- I would hate to miss some unknown deadline for your order due to workload & you wind up not having things for the event you needed them for. However, the only way I can know this is if you give me at least a general timeframe you’d like things.
- Moving forward, I will not start orders or even give an estimate until the customer gives me a deadline/general timeframe they want their order.
- For delivery, items will be shipped out via USPS or UPS depending on when the order is needed. Either way, tracking info will be provided to the customer.
- I also offer at-con delivery if I happen to be at the same convention you need the order for or if it’s close to my base of operations. In either case, please check with me first before committing to this delivery option.
- More info for shipping/delivery is available on either site page listed above.
- For rush orders I’m hand-delivering, the fee amount will vary depending on how much I need to do in order to deliver the items. That said, at its lowest it will be $30 so please plan/budget accordingly when considering this option.
- In general, please send files as png, jpg, svg,or Adobe Photoshop. Although for art prints I’ll still accept pdf files, I vastly prefer the client use any of my other acceptable file types as it reduces production time & are generally easier to use over pdf.
- For art prints, please be mindful of the size cardstock you would like with regards to the image files you send as it will cause delays in the production process.
- For example, if I’m sent a file meant for a 4×6″ print but you’d like 5×7″ prints instead I’ll have to spend time either altering the file so it prints properly or contacting you again to send me a file that will fit the desired print size.
- Additionally, it’s recommended that you add some bleed to any given file to reduce the likelihood of white strips showing on the edges when printing. Granted, this is namely for borderless prints as if it’s a bordered print this will be of no issue.
